Expert warns of PFAS in sports watch bands, urges manufacturers to find alternatives
Exposure to certain PFAS has been linked to a broad spectrum of adverse health effects. These include an increased risk of specific cancers such as kidney, testicular, and prostate cancer , liver and thyroid disease , immune system suppression, reduced vaccine response, and reproductive harm.
