The Patent US 3060795A present invention relates to apparatus for producing visual stimulation at levels of awareness below that ability of an observer to report the stimulus verbally. More particularly, the present invention relates to apparatus for imparting useful information to an observer by subconscious stimulation and subsequently resulting in conscious purposive behavior of said observer without his awareness of the basis for such behavior, said apparatus comprising means for stimulating said observer below his conscious recognition level without said observer being consciously aware of any change in his environmental and physical status to impart information to said observer at said subconscious recognition level and said observer subsequently utilizing said information at the conscious recognition level.
