Drone Thermal Footage of Elon Musk AI Data Center
This is taken from thermal drone footage I shot. It shows a gas plant whose sole purpose is to power a massive AI data center nearby that’s owned by Elon Musk. Those things that look like giant burning candles, those are gas-powered turbines, jet engines basically, and they emit a lot of greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants linked to asthma, heart attacks, and even premature death.
Elon Musk AI Data Center Mocking EPA Air Permit Rules
This is what Elon Musk‘s AI data center gas plant looks like to our eyes, but thermal imagery really brings it to life. It can even tell us if Elon Musk‘s company, X AI, is mocking EPA air permit rules. You see, according to decades-old EPA air permit rules that the agency re-upped just last month, the EPA says that Elon Musk‘s AI data center gas-powered turbines like these need to get EPA air permits before they can be turned on.
The thing is, public records show Elon Musk‘s X AI doesn’t have a EPA air permit to operate any of these AI data center gas-powered turbines in South Haven. Yet, these thermal images clearly show more than a dozen gas-powered turbines are operating anyway. A former EPA air enforcement chief examined the photos and told me this is a clear violation of federal law.
Former EPA Air Enforcement Chief Take on the Thermal Footage
Based on what I’ve seen in those photographs that you shared with me, there are a number of AI data center gas-powered turbines units operating without a federal or state EPA air permit. You’re supposed to get the permission first.
Are State and Federal Regulators Aware?
Some of Elon Musk‘s AI data center gas-powered turbines have been in use since at least November, and state and federal regulators are well aware this is happening, according to public records we got. It seems nothing is being done about it. Check out floodlightnews.org or theguardian.com to read our full investigation.
