AI Data Centers Health Effects in Humans and Animals

They build these AI data centers next to a neighborhood, put all these diesel generators, these are not your normal diesel generators, maybe half of this room is one generator. AI data centers are releasing all this pollution, this air pollution, but also the noise pollution with all of this. You know, I read a report where the AI data centers noise pollution travels for five miles and it causes health effects like heart murmurs in kids. We’re seeing heart attacks in adults. We’re seeing early onset dementia in people. We are seeing health effects reports that chickens lay 50% less eggs. We’re seeing cases where horses no longer reproduce. We’re seeing cases of health effects where cows, goats, and sheep lose 30% of their body weight. Well,

News Reports – SPAN Small Data Centers for Homes

Andrew, it’s an unlikely partnership. SPAN, which is a small startup that makes smart home electrical panels, is teaming up with NVIDIA and Pulte Group, a major U.S. homes builder. SPAN is now making small fractional data centers, or they call them nodes, that can be put on the side of residential homes. The idea is to take advantage of unused electrical capacity on local grids, which the SPAN small data center smart panels can find.

Homes will be Used as Networks Utilizing SPAN Small Data Center

Now, a network of these small data center nodes talking to each other across the country is about the equivalent of a mid-sized traditional data center. So, these could negate the need to build as many. Hyperscalers and AI cloud providers just tap into the node network using homes like a regular data center.

SPAN claims it can install 8,000 of these units about six times faster and at five times lower cost in homes than the construction of a typical centralized 100 megawatt data center of the same size. Now, Pulte Homes is in the early testing phase with these home systems, which they have already deployed in a handful of communities.

Why Would a Homeowner Want a SPAN Small Data Center?

Because they would just have to pay one flat fee for electrical and Wi-Fi, which SPAN and it’s small data center said would be roughly 150 bucks total. So, a lot less than everybody’s normal electric bills.
