They’re spraying USDA approved apeel on apples, avocados, food in general to make it last longer. Is it even food anymore?

So they hide the apeel approved coating behind plant-derived, but we’re talking proprietary formulas with mono and diglycerides, potential solvent residue, heavy trace metals from manufacturing. I mean, it tricks your produce food into looking fresh when it should be rotting naturally. USDA Organic is supposed to mean pure, natural, transparent, food not coated in some apeel tech bro science experiment to extend shelf life for corporate profits.

I mean, this apeel undermines everything the organic label stands for. It’s gaslighting customers who pay extra. I’m one of the suckers apparently. We pay extra for clean organic food. We need public outrage right now. Flood the USDA and your grocery stores and organic certifiers with complaints. You want to demand that they reverse this apeel food coating approval immediately. Demand clear apeel labeling. I mean, we need to know what’s been coated by apeel. If we don’t push back hard, they’re going to coat everything.
