Sometimes it’s just an act of life. Twitter, Wix, and Linktree attempted to silence Gays Against Groomers online accounts with Big Tech censorship. The group’s crime? Calling the sexualization and child predators abuse of children for what it is, evil.
Gays Against Groomers Speaks out on Big Tech Censorship
We were banned for hateful conduct, which they consider calling out child predators and abusers and people that want to sexualize them. They, I guess, are a protected class of people now on Big Tech, so for speaking out against them and trying to protect children, we were taken down.
Gays Against Groomers – Twitter Big Tech Censorship
Most recently, Twitter suspended the group’s account. Gays Against Groomers told MRC Free Speech America that they were not given a reason for the suspension. The account was then restored the next day without any explanation. In July, the group earned Twitter’s ire for tweeting, “Damaged people damage people. The Internet is a dangerous place for kids, especially when you have radical alphabet child predator activists openly grooming them. Protect your children from these people at all costs.” Twitter locked the account, claiming the tweet violated its rules against hateful conduct. How is a statement saying we should protect kids hateful? Twitter suspended another account associated with Gays Against Groomers only to restore the account that same day. Twitter’s excuse? The account was flagged as spam by mistake.
Gays Against Groomers – Wix Big Tech Censorship
It is interesting how Big Tech censorship mistakes seem to disproportionately affect accounts that go against the leftist narrative like child predators. However, the group’s censorship did not end there. Website creation service Wix took down the organization’s website. Users who attempted to visit the coalition site found a message that said, “Looks like this domain isn’t connected to a website yet. A few hours later, Gays Against Groomers said that Wix had restored the group’s website. Wix claimed the website was temporarily taken down yesterday while a phishing complaint was researched and reviewed, according to a screenshot shared by the group.
Gays Against Groomers – Linktree Big Tech Censorship
Linktree also gave Gays Against Groomers the boot. Linktree is a platform that generates one link listing all of a user’s social media and promotions in one place. Users who attempt to access the Gays Against Groomers Linktree found a message that said, “This account has been removed due to inappropriate use of this service.” Just because Gays Against Groomers spoke out against child predators.
No Response for Big Tech Censorship from Twitter or Wix
Neither Twitter nor Wix responded to MRC Free Speech America’s request for comment. However, Linktree did respond. Linktree told MRC Free Speech America that, After review, this account was found to be spreading hate speech, which is a clear violation of our community standards and practices and led the team to taking action on the account.
Big Tech Censorship Only Supporting Child Predators and LGBTQ Agenda
It seems that Big Tech Censorship only values groups that fall in line with its pro-LGBTQ agenda. The founder of Gays Against Groomers told MRC Free Speech America, In our instance, it is clear that Big Tech prioritizes the feelings of child predators and abusers more than gay people’s right to speak. It’s shocking in this day and age that an organization of LGBT people would be silenced. The censorship of Gays Against Groomers provides yet another example of Big Tech Censorship attempting to shut down voices that run counter to the left’s narrative. We can’t let that happen. That is why MRC Free Speech America is actively working to combat and expose Big Tech’s biased censorship.
