Like in the audience, maybe even around, no, I think it’s a couple thousand. I thought, I thought that it was like, oh, what’s that? They’re all starting to dance in synchronized fashion. What’s happening? The front of the crowd, they’re all synchronized.

Oh, here we go. This Oprah TV Show Music Performance generated a lot of controversy. People were extremely angry because they blocked off the road for a TV show performance disrupt. It wasn’t for the public. More and more people then start joining into a choreographed, synchronized dance. The fans are not real. There goes everybody.
This is a big deal. I remember back then, because I was living in Chicago, people were pissed off. Don’t get me wrong. A lot of people liked it. I’m not saying everybody was mad. I’m saying there were a lot of people that were like, you pretended to put on a show for the people, but it was actually just a Oprah TV show.
Fake Crowd – Crowd was Performers
You blocked off a portion of the city, a small portion, but the road and there they all are now understand this, the whole point, how could it be that what appears to be a couple thousand people in the audience were actually all performers? Look how big the crowd is actually. The back is also coordinated. I thought it was just the front too. That’s what I thought. I knew there was a ton of people there, but the first 2000 in that main group are all a choreographed dance routine.
You want to be Popular in the Music Industry? They FAKE it
Indeed, my friends, as the story goes, you want to be popular. You want to be big. You want to be the biggest. Well, they fake it. It’s what they’ve always done. Story goes that certain concert promoters, certain band managers would hire young women to scream and freak out in the front of a concert so that on camera, it appears that these people are really, really massive.
Benny and the Jets, Fake Live Song
Benny and the jets, not a live song. Did you know that? Let me, let me, let me pull this up. Benny and the jets was not a live song. So you know the song, right? It starts with the fake crowd screaming, which that’s playing the piano. It is not a live song recording, but that producer Gus Dudgeon wanted a live feel. So he mixed in fake crowd noise and whistles into the song. The point, Oh, some of the crowd noises from a Hendrix concert.
Maybe I’m wrong, but my understanding was that he wanted to create the perception that the song was popular so that when people first heard it, they hear the fake crowd screaming, just like a laugh track. The presumption is this is a big song. It’s the game they play. It’s the game they’ve always played.
Why Bring up the Oprah TV Show Music Performance?
Well, with USAID, we had, we had all this music. Billy Corgan says that there was a conspiracy. There was an effort to silence, to turn down the volume on rock music. He said some believe it was CA, but that’s above my pay grade. The media attacked him for this, even though he never did say that some people believe it, but, you know, what do I know? I think it’s a fair point because some people do.

Maybe it was. USAID rap music industry just vanished from the billboard top 40 for the first time in 35 years. Strange a couple of months. So this would have been about four months after the shuttering of USAID, rap music disappears from the billboard hot 100.
Music Industry Controlling What You Hear and Like
Now I want you to think about that Oprah performance that black eyed peas are, are there. There’s a big fake crowd and on camera, it looks like everybody loves this band. The song is played on the radio and it’s put in the playlists and you will listen to what the music industry tell you to listen to strange. Then everyone starts dancing in the exact same way. It says if thousands of people secretly coordinated the appearance of fence. Now don’t get me wrong. The Oprah flash mob model, the intention was for people to know that the crowd were fake. My point is only to show you it is entirely possible to stage a concert and make individuals look popular.
Music Industry Real Collaboration
Now we’ll let you in on some big secrets about the music industry. It’s all fake. Music industry is about 80% fake. Most things are fake, but about 80%. Let me explain.
So music industry record labels will go to the big streaming platforms and say, if you want this top artist, you’ve got to put these other artists in rotation. They do a combination of things that are from ranging from legitimate to illegitimate legitimate. I would argue is you got a big artist, you know, billboard charting. So you do a collab, you got a new artist. You say, we’re gonna have these two people do the song together. That way the new music artist will be on the charts because the stronger artist helps them get there. That’s legitimate. That’s called collaboration. Totally acceptable.
Music Industry Controlled Collaboration
However, these music industry labels do indirect control collaboration, essentially, where they go to the streaming platforms and say your modern hits playlist, where you’re going to play all of the big songs from our label. You want the rights to that? Well, look, if people are going to download a music app, they’re going to go to the one that’s got the music and the musicians that they like. So big celebrity, you want their music on the platform. We could do an exclusive deal with some other platform. Okay. We also want our music on rotation in your mainstream pop hits section. You need to include this new and up and coming artists. So what happens? The new artist now on that streaming playlist, regular people will open up their app, beat Spotify or whatever, and they’ll, they’ll choose pop or rock or modern hits. All of a sudden they’re listening to an artist that never heard before. Well, this artist is now going to get a platinum hit. Why? Because the playlist just plays their music. No, one’s ever heard of it. Nobody knows who they are. They wouldn’t buy the album if they were given the option, but they listened to it. The radio used to be very, very similar radio stations that have like 16 songs on rotation.
Seriously, very few, and the company would say, put this new band on rotation. These bands would all of a sudden skyrocket the billboard charts for radio play. It was promotional. That was the point back in the day they sold albums. Now they really don’t. So the music industry is kind of hurting for a variety of reasons. I think AI is going to make it a lot worse
