I’m not going to say too much, but I’m going to say a lot at the same time. Mexico has elected its first female president Claudia Sheinbaum, after 37 of the other candidates were assassinated, this was the bloodiest election in Mexico‘s history.
In a shocking turn of events, the death toll of candidates has risen to 37 as more than three dozen have been assassinated, including a local government candidate in central Puebla state who was tragically killed on Friday. This alarming statistic comes just days before the Sunday vote, as reported by security consultancy Integralia and obtained by Reuters.
