You guys remember how I showed you the maps that were here on Earth before 1958, before the governments took them out? I’m going to show you the Encyclopedia Britannica‘s in the public libraries before 1958. Here is volume 2 out of the alphabet A.

Now, we’re going to flip to the Antarctica and see what the Encyclopedia Britannica from 1958 before the Antarctic Treaty says is there. Now, you won’t find this in the new encyclopedias because the governments banned them, but what I want you to notice right here is, notice how it says “the flights proved inland areas to be featureless in character with a dome 13,000 feet high at about latitude 80 degrees south longitude 90 degrees east.” Take a really, really close look at that.

Now, I’m going to zoom it in for you. “When they returned to New Zealand, these flights proved the inland areas to be featureless in character with a dome 13,000 feet high at about latitude 80 degrees south, longitude 90 degrees east.”

Understanding Why This Map Is not a Globe Map
Okay. Now, here’s where everybody needs to pay attention. Here’s where the glovers going to come in and try to tell you this is a projection map of a globe, okay? They are wrong. It is a projection map of the flat Earth being presented onto a paper, onto surface. Now, if you don’t understand that, let me show you here. A pilot’s primary flight instrument is his artificial horizon, which he has to be maintaining the level to keep from climbing and descending. From a cockpit, weather permitted, I could see hundreds of miles in all directions, viewing cities connected by roads across a flat plane as far as the eye could see.

Oh, the Eratosthenes experiment is an experiment supposedly conducted in the first century, whereby this ingenious person was supposed to have proved, I say that in quotes, that the Earth was a sphere of some 4,000 miles radius.

Eratosthenes one day noticed that the Sun was directly overhead in Cyene, whereas he noticed that on the same day, at the same time, the Sun made an angle of 7.2 degrees to the vertical at Alexandria, which was some 530 miles away. How did Eratosthenes in the first century say, no, what the Sun was doing on the same day in two places which are 530 miles apart? One can take all those same data, knowing that the Earth is flat. In one place you have the Sun directly overhead and at another place, at the same time, at 530 miles away, let us suppose that it does make an angle of 7.2 degrees to the vertical. Then we have a right angle triangle which can be easily shown that the Sun is some 4,000 miles up in the sky. These superficial even considerations show that it’s impossible, the whole thing, it’s a story, a fairy story made up and mindlessly repeated in textbooks. Fortunately, not all scientific arguments are based on such questionable research.
The Greek astronomer Ptolemy determined to everyone’s satisfaction that the Earth is flat, circular, and the central body in the Universe. His theory went unchallenged for 1,200 years. Not surprising really.
